In 2023 I decided that it was time for me to stop making Classic American clothespins and focus my energies on other pursuits. By then, I had helped to launch several other artisan clothespin makers. In the winter of 2023/24 I focused on getting the last of my clothespin halves tumble-sanded, sealed, inspected, assembled, adjusted, and packaged. That work is finally done and I am now selling the last of my Classic American clothespins here.

I have reduced the price from $2.50 each to $2.25. But I can assure you that the finished quality of these pins has not been reduced! I have always been fanatically picky about the finished quality of each clothespin, and that will hold true right to the very last one.

As I am creating this web page, I have 4 to 5 thousand clothespins in stock. I have no idea how long that supply will last. It could be months. It could be years. But when they're gone, that will be the last of my "premium" Classic American clothespins. I might offer "factory second" pins with all the still-solid-but-slightly-flawed halves I've rejected, but that won't be any time soon.
